We are sitting at the east end of Snowdrift Lake. The spot is marked by an X on the map above. We want to travel over the saddle between Mount Wister and Veiled Peak. We know, just by looking at the map, that Mount Wister is mostly South and a little East of us. But let’s take a map bearing in order to find out exactly where Mount Wister is in relation to us.
