I have grown up an explorer, a tree-climber, a questioner and an observer of wild things. I have happily translated these passions into a solid lifestyle of outdoor adventuring and a career as a field biologist. I have worked with bears, deer, elk, toads, bison, sage grouse, and bighorn sheep to name a few. I do what I love and I love what I do. When I'm not out in the field I can often be found writing about the outdoors, playing the guitar, exploring a new country, reading a good book, or planning my next backcountry trip.
